Two young people met in Romania at the beginning of the 20th century. They traveled to America, put down roots in a number of American cities and raised nine children, all of whom went on to marry and raise children of their own.
Lazar and Fannie were in their early 20s when they traveled here with their infant son, but they worked hard to create a better life for themselves and their children, seeking greater opportunity with each move.
On the pages of this website are the results of their efforts: the story of six generations of Lazar and Fannie Peretz and their children.
